Rick Stone has been entertaining serious music fans for over 10 years now. Rick Stone and his Band of Brothers are road proven and are always up for a good time. Rick has performed Country, Southern Rock, Blue-Grass and Americana at many prestigious venues and events across the Southeast such as Mad Life Studios and The Belle Meade Plantation. He has also performed at the Cobb and Paulding Rodeos and the Georgia State Fair. As a military veteran Rick is an active supporter of local charities and events to support veterans, children and the underprivileged, dedicating time to organizations such as St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the American Legions. Rick clears his schedule for at least 6 charity events per year.
Rick’s signature personality shines in interviews with Atl. & Co., Full Throttle Magazine, Rising Star Magazine, and many local radio shows and newspapers. That personality translates effortlessly to the stage. Rick likes to engage with the audiences at his shows, coming off stage and performing amongst the crowd he demonstrates his desire to be close to his fans. He makes himself available before, after and even during shows for a quick chat and a friendly handshake. Rick has had steady success in the industry, beginning in 2008 with the debut of his single ‘Me and You’, a deeply personal song that gave him his first radio airplay. He followed the success of this track with a string of impressive single releases including ‘I’m Your Man’, ‘Never Started Drinking’ and ‘This Ole Road’. Recent releases show no sign of him slowing down either. The accompanying music video for his 2019 single ‘Wonderin’ What I’m Doin’ Wrong’ quickly hit 100k views on YouTube and his newest single ‘Quicksilver’ is positioned to do equally as well. Things keep moving quick for Rick and he couldn’t be happier to have the support of the best group of fans and family a man could ask for. Don’t miss a chance to catch him live, you sure won’t be disappointed.

"I have been blessed with the experiences and people I've met along the way; allowing me to write about my encounters and thoughts as I have experienced them. Whether my songs be about love, loss, redemption or the road of life, they come from the heart. Just as a painter paints on a canvas, a musician paints on silence. I hope to connect with my audience on some level; if I do, I will have done my job. I hope you enjoy, and I hope you know how very much I thank you all. I give you, my debut – Lovers and Friends.  Come on in, sit a spell, have a listen! Drop me a line.  No Bad Days! Troy Hanna"

A Matador at heart with the soul of a romantic, Jesse Lopez's songwriting is seeped in his Mexican-Italian charm. His fusion of rock and country combined with the flair of a Nashville songwriter is apparent on his latest single “That Smile” - the first of five songs to be released, telling the story of a relationship from the first infatuation to bitter end.
Stubborn for success, overcoming turmoil and alcoholism instilled a determination in Lopez that translates beautifully into his music. Supporting security in schools, Jesse Lopez launched his non-profit “Saved By Wavs” on July 19 - ensuring the future and safety of our children by installing security systems in schools.

Jesse Lopez has been in Nashville full time since April 2019 after leaving the writing scene in LA for a more storytelling style of writing. Jesse's influences are Neal Young, Rob Thomas and the Zac Brown Band. I like to write songs that are close to my heart and all true stories. He immediately recorded his 5 song EP From Start to Finish under Century Music for a production deal and teamed up with KORE PR for the releases and radio tours while touring the country. Jesse did not stop his momentum during the quarantine as he self released a 2 song EP called Quarantine Made Me Do It where he wrote, recorded and shot the music video inside. He also started a virtual festival called Stream Fest with Freebird that is a fundraiser for our Nashville community featuring artists from all over the world. Jesse just finished up in the studio at Sound Kitchen with Dr. Ford on his next single that was co-written with Ryland Fisher (Whatcha Drinkin' Bout, Stephanie Quayle). He now has 3 records released under his belt and the new single ‘Way Past Words’ coming out on Friday 8.28.20! Jesse's music has been featured on the following locally.

Jessica Carter is a singer-songwriter from Columbia, MO. Jessica began her love for music at age three, while repeatedly beating and singing on coffee cans. Her influences range from many genres of music including: Johnny Cash, George Strait, Dolly Parton, Miranda Lambert, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Joan Jett, Queen, Eagles and many more.

After years of being involved in music through school, she began trying her hand at songwriting. She would then pursue a degree to further her knowledge and skills in music. Jessica graduated from Central Methodist University in 2014 with a bachelors in Music Education. From there she would go on to teach elementary music in Mid-MO for the next 5 years. Through teaching she learned how to be a better musician, by helping her students to be confident in their work.

As she continued to push her students to follow their dreams, at whatever talent they exceeded in, Jessica decided to take her own advice. In the fall of 2019, she is trading her midwest roots and teaching degree, for the music scene. She will finally pursue her dreams of being a singer-songwriter!

Melissa Ellis returns to Grinderhouse Coffee on October 23rd! Possessing a vocal power that packs a serious punch, add in her opulent tone and texture reminiscent of jazz’s golden age, her distinctive growl of the blues, and soulful delivery, Melissa has concocted an unforgettable signature blend of blues, jazz, and blue-eyed soul. Her spicy southern drawl is only the cherry on top.

Melissa Ellis is an award winning singer-songwriter and a 2020 quarterfinalist of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN where she shared the stage with over 100 rising solo/duo blues acts from all over the world.

Beginning her professional career as a singer/actress/dancer in theater at the age of 16, she performed in regional tours before moving on to study classical and jazz music at Tennessee Technological University as a vocalist while pursuing a singing career in Nashville.

In 2009, Melissa released her debut album Melissa Benjamin, lending her seasoned talent to the world of bluegrass & gospel. Her original single, “Crossville,” was adopted by her hometown as the official city song. While touring, she found new inspiration and started writing more original songs. With new songs came a new sound that evolved into a more soulful genre.

Melissa’s sophomore album, Just Me, was released in 2011 and as a multi-instrumentalist, the album showcased her musicianship on guitar and piano, as well as more of her original material.

Melissa’s latest musical journey brings out the raw emotional sounds of blues & her training in jazz. Her repertoire includes her original songs mixed with re-imaginings of familiar classics that are presented in fresh new ways. Melissa has landed opportunities that have placed her on world renowned stages, on radio, on television, and at high profile festivals, including Nashville’s acclaimed CMAfest where her soulful style was showcased among the sea of rising country twang.

Molly is a recent graduate from the University of Notre Dame who is now down in Nashville full time. While at Notre Dame she was the lead singer and wrote the original songs for NandD, a band that performed locally around South Bend. A reformation of the group was one of six acts to be chosen to compete at the 2019 “Battle of The Bands.” She was awarded a competitive grant by The University of Notre Dame the summer before her senior year to come to Nashville and work with the company Carnival Music, where she was encouraged to pursue songwriting by several of Carnival’s members. Now a solo act, Molly has been described as “a young promising songwriter with a big heart,” by music industry professionals and her voice and style has been compared to Joni Mitchell and Joan Baez. Since moving to Nashville, Molly has secured a weekly show at Hopsmith Tavern in Midtown, where she books the writers round.

Kirstie Kraus is a feisty powerhouse that lays it all out each time she takes the stage. Her sound is a blend of modern country-pop with a mix of blues, a little funk and 80's rock tones. Some of Kirstie’s biggest influences are LeAnn Rimes, Elton John, Phil Collins, Amy Grant, Gloria Estefan, Shania Twain, and Faith Hill.

Kirstie moved to Nashville in October 2017 and jumped right into the creation of her first record after touring the Midwest with her previous rockin’ country band Thirsty Jones. Kirstie has teamed up with EMC2 Records (Nashville, TN) and Sound Kitchen (Franklin, TN) for a full length record release in 2020.

The anticipated 'Yes You Can' album which was partly funded by Kickstarter backers from her native state of Wisconsin is eleven tracks in length and enriched with some of Nashville's finest players including Rich Redmond (Drums, Jason Aldean), Ford Thurston (Guitar, Randy Houser), and Lee Turner (Organ, Darius Rucker). The record was mastered by Pete Lyman (Chris Stapleton, Dierks Bentley, Keith Urban).
