Making its debut two years ago, the Railbird Festival returns to the Grounds of Keeneland in August 28th and 29th to bring patrons a full two day experience of music, bourbon, and Kentucky culture. Registered as a National Historic Landmark in 1986, Keeneland Grounds holds deep roots and history to horse racing which is how the founder, AC Entertainment, came up with the name and location for the Railbird Festival. Combining the historic and cultural interests of the Lexington area is what makes the Railbird Festival unique and a must attend event.
On the bill this year for music is a variety of music that will be enjoyed by all. Having My Morning Jacket as one of the headliners at Railbird is iconic as the band was founded in Louisville, KY. Alabama native Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will also be part of this year's headliner lineup. The band has released seven albums to date and become a very well respected Americana/Rock Folk artist throughout the country.
