Robby was born in Spencer, Tennessee into a musically gifted family, and grew up in Northwest Georgia. His grandmother taught him his first guitar chords when he was eight, and he wrote his first song at age sixteen. He's often recognized for his ease on stage and for his voice – often compared to some of his favorite country greats -- Vern Gosdin, Keith Whitley, Merle Haggard, Randy Travis, & Ronnie Dunn. Robby's music is playing on country radio including Chattanooga's WUSY US-101, WUUQ Classic Country 97.3/99.3, and 107.9 NASH Icon; Knoxville's Merle FM, and WDVX, WKVL Alcoa, TN; Calhoun, GA's WJTH to name a few. Several online radio stations have also picked up his music. He performs regularly at music venues, festivals, malls, restaurants, churches, television, radio, charity, corporate, and private events.

“I work hard at songwriting and getting my music out there each day. I’m excited about the opportunities I’ve had so far, and look forward to what’s next! I’m blessed and thankful for the strong support of my family, friends, and fans. I couldn’t do it without you!” Hopkins said.
