Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival - Interview with Karina Rykman

Published June 17, 2022

Thursday marked the return of The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival that has been on hiatus since 2019.   The festival which is located in Manchester, TN is located on a 700+ acre farm providing attendees a unique experience allowing four days of live non-stop music featuring 150+ artists across 10 stages.  WFMC Jams was on site all weekend providing live coverage and artist interviews for its fourth year.

New York native Karina Rykman performed at the Who Stage Friday evening at Bonnaroo as part of her summer tour.  She has been playing bass since she was thirteen.  She spent a few years playing around the New York area and would eventually team up with Marco Benevento in her early twenties, turning over a new leaf of opportunity in her music career.  In 2019, she started venturing out creating music under her own name and is working towards releasing a new album soon.  In the meantime, Karina is on tour this summer playing major festivals including Bonnaroo.  For updates on future shows, merch, music, and more visit her official site at https://www.karinarykman.com/
