WFMC Jams is an online internet radio station committed to bringing you original music as well as your favorite classics from a variety of local artists in the area. The station was founded on June 24, 2012 right after the Third Annual Fam Jam music festival in Manchester, TN. The idea came up as a way to continue to give back to the local and regional songwriters and performers in the area year round by promoting their music.

Thursday marked the return of The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival that has been on hiatus since 2019.   The festival which is located in Manchester, TN is located on a 700+ acre farm providing attendees a unique experience allowing four days of live non-stop music featuring 150+ artists across 10 stages.  WFMC Jams was on site all weekend providing live coverage and artist interviews for its fourth year.

Mark had the opportunity to sit down with Judah and the Lion before their set Saturday night at This Tent.  The band originating from Nashville, Tennessee formed in 2012 and released many albums and singles over time.  Judah and the Lion is currently promoting their latest album relased earlier this month titled "Revival" featuring their song "Be Here Now"   Written during a time when the band was going through growth changes, the album focuses on this experience through the lyrics of the songs on the album.  Bonnaroo marks the first major show since the release of their album.  The "Happy Again Tour" will start this fall as the band celebrates their release of their newest album.  Full details can be found on their official site at https://www.judahandthelion.com/

Despite two years of obstacles with the pandemic and unpredictable weather, The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival returns in 2022 bigger and better than ever!  The festival located in Manchester, TN is located on a 700+ acre farm providing attendees a unique experience allowing four days of live non-stop music across 10 stages.

Saturday's headliners included Tool, Flume, 21 Savage, Billy Strings, $uicideboy$, Porter Robinson, Marc Rebillet, Chvrches, Lany, and many more.

WFMC Jams is onsite for its fourth year providing coverage, interviews, and photography of independent artists.  Part of today's interviews included Judah and the Lion, and Maggie Rose.

New York native Karina Rykman performed at the Who Stage Friday evening at Bonnaroo as part of her summer tour.  She has been playing bass since she was thirteen.  She spent a few years playing around the New York area and would eventually team up with Marco Benevento in her early twenties, turning over a new leaf of opportunity in her music career.  In 2019, she started venturing out creating music under her own name and is working towards releasing a new album soon.  In the meantime, Karina is on tour this summer playing major festivals including Bonnaroo.  For updates on future shows, merch, music, and more visit her official site at https://www.karinarykman.com/

Maggie Rose performed on Friday evening at the Which Stage, and Saturday afternoon the DJ Doctor had a chance to talk about her experience at Bonnaroo.  After performing in other bands early in her career, Maggie  moved to Nashville to eventually make her own name.  She has since released several albums and single, including her latest song "Save Me" which was released earlier this month.   Maggie also hosts her own podcast "Salute the Songbird" where she connects with other women whom are heroes to talk about their music and personal lives.  After Bonnaroo, she will be on tour most of this year across many parts of the United States.  For latest tour dates, merch, music, videos, and much more, be sure to visit her official site at https://www.maggierosemusic.com/
