WFMC Jams
WFMC Jams is an online internet radio station committed to bringing you original music as well as your favorite classics from a variety of local artists in the area. The station was founded on June 24, 2012 right after the Third Annual Fam Jam music festival in Manchester, TN. The idea came up as a way to continue to give back to the local and regional songwriters and performers in the area year round by promoting their music.
Thursday marked the return of The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival that has been on hiatus since 2019. The festival which is located in Manchester, TN is located on a 700+ acre farm providing attendees a unique experience allowing four days of live non-stop music featuring 150+ artists across 10 stages. WFMC Jams was on site all weekend providing live coverage and artist interviews for its fourth year.
The DJ Doctor had the chance to talk with Whiskey Myers after their set today at That Tent. The band is currently on their summer tour titled "Tornillo Tour" which includes their first time performing at Bonnaroo. The tour highlights the release of their new album Tornillo, expected to release on July 29th. The band has recently been recognized for four new RIAA Gold & Platinum certifications during their sold out Red Rocks debut earlier this month which includes:
“Stone,” “Ballad of a Southern Man” - Platinum
“Broken Window Serenade” - Platinum
“Virginia” Gold
