Candler Park Music Festival kicked off its fourteenth year this past Friday providing Atlanta an amazing evening of music. A large variety of food trucks and vendors including Atlanta's very own Scofflaw Brewing Company were onsite in the spacious 450 acre destination.
Opening the festival on Friday was The Orange Constant, a band that formed back in 2012 and originates from Georgia. Currently on their 2022 Summer tour, the band packed a set full of crowd appealing rock infused with its own unique style that's widely appreciated. Andy Frasco and the U.N. released a new album in April "Wash, Rinse, Repeat" which features 12 tracks. This release was just in time to promote on summer tour which included Candler Park Music Festival Friday afternoon. Switching up the sound with their own unique style of Bluegrass, the Yonder Mountain String Band fit the bill perfectly with their performance later in the evening. The band that has been together for over 20 years is also celebrating a new album release this year titled "Get Yourself Outside" while on tour.
Closing out Friday night was Grace Potter, who's no stranger to the music festival scene. For years Grace Potter has frequented the stages of many festivals including Candler Park. Fans enjoyed a variety of favorites including "Paris (Ooh La La)" and even a special cover of Etta James "I'd Rather Go Blind"
Music is set to start Saturday at 1pm with Webster, a 5 piece band based out of Atlanta.

In less than two weeks, the Candler Park Music Festival returns to its traditional date on June 3rd and 4th with a blockbuster lineup of music in Atlanta, Georgia. Candler Park is a 450 acre destination and has been the home of the festival for fourteen years.
This year's headliners includes Grace Potter, a singer/songwriter who embraces the music festival scene, will be performing Friday at Candler Park as part of her tour she's currently on. Also on tour this summer are The Disco Biscuits hailing from Pennsylvania and known for their unique genre of trance fusion. Trouble No More, a tribute band based out of New York, will be making a stop to celebrate the legacy of the Allman Brothers on their national tour. This year's lineup will also feature Yonder Mountain String Band, Twiddle, Andy Frasco and the U.N., Cha Wa, CBDB, The Orange Constant, and Webster.
A variety of food trucks, vendors, and an artist market providing will be on site to complement the music. Candler Park Music Festival is also partnering again with Atlanta's very own Scofflaw Brewing Company to offer a variety of beverages for those over 21 to enjoy.

Tickets are still on sale and available as of this writing are $50 for weekend general admission and $125 for VIP. Single-day admission is $35 for General and $80 for VIP. Centennial Park was a full house Friday evening with the second weekend of the Musicians Corner Spring Series Kick Off. Opening the stage for the evening at Centennial park was Kelsey Abbott, a singer/songwriter and guitarist who has been busy playing around Nashville and was recently declared a 2022 finalist for Lightning 100's Music City Mayhem competition. Following Kelsey was Nashville based alternative Rock Duo Moody Joody. The Minks, which are expected to release their new single "Take it Easy" on May 27th are on currently on tour. Airpark is on tour as well this summer and made at stop at Musicians Corner. Closing out the evening was Becca Mancari.
The spring series will continue throughout Friday and Saturdays during the month of May and June. May closes out the month with a special three day Memorial Day Weekend celebration from Friday, May 27th to Sunday, May 29th. Live music free to the public returned to Centennial Park in Nashville Friday evening with the Musicians Corner Spring Series Kick Off. Since 2010, Musicians Corner has hosted a large variety of artists each summer allowing Nashvillians and tourists to connect with new music. The evening music lineup kicked off with Blue Willow from Murfreesboro bringing an energetic indie rock set to start this year off right. Following Blue Willow was Texas native Gabe Baker, a singer/songwriter and cellist. Being an integral part of Nashville music and playing in many venues around town, Gabe has performed at Musician's Corner previously and returned this evening sharing new music with his audience. The Harmaleighs, Indie/Rock Duo, have spent the earlier part of the year touring as well as Deeohgee, both making a stop in Nashville to perform at Musicians Corner. Closing out the first day is rock duo Illiterate Light which is no stranger to Musician's corner. The band will be teaming up this summer with Flipturn as part of their summer tour.
