WFMC Jams
WFMC Jams is an online internet radio station committed to bringing you original music as well as your favorite classics from a variety of local artists in the area. The station was founded on June 24, 2012 right after the Third Annual Fam Jam music festival in Manchester, TN. The idea came up as a way to continue to give back to the local and regional songwriters and performers in the area year round by promoting their music.

Melissa Alesi is a singer-songwriter from Delaware who combines a multitude of genres to make her own style. With a focus on folk and adult contemporary, Melissa also brings elements of alternative, jazz, country, and world music into her performance. Her background in classical voice and percussion adds to her unique, fresh sound in both her vocals and guitar playing.
Melissa began her career in late
2007 as part of the trio, High Maintenance, playing covers in venues on the Eastern Shore. After a couple of
years, she started playing solo and recorded her first full-length original album self titled, “ALESI,” in 2008.
Her second album, “House Of Stones,” takes the listener on a journey from thunderous drums and stunning string arrangements, to the beautiful simplicity of soulful vocals and acoustic guitar. The album’s title refers to taking the “stones” thrown at you by life’s experiences and using them to make yourself a stronger, wiser person.
EPK: Relative Harmony! Keeping it all in the family, Credenda consists of two siblings and their mom, all contributing to the songwriting.
Their music is reminiscent of a time when lyrics impacted a generation, bringing healing and hope for the future.
Genre defying, Credenda's signature sound of unique sibling harmonies is showcased in their original and compelling songs.

It started with Barbara who began songwriting as a young adult. She was heavily influenced by Bob Dylan, Larry Norman, and some jazz artists like Cleo Lane. She grew up being exposed to multiple genres, particularly jazz and rock n’ roll. After nursing school, she worked for a while in the UK and then applied for a job in California where she met her husband Joe Bruton. They had a family and out of that family musicians began to develop! Soon, members of the family were writing and jamming together. Barb plays keyboard for the band and is one of the primary song writers.
Daniel started playing the guitar while living in England from 2003-2008. Dad worked on the streets with homeless folks and runaways. His parents bought him an electric guitar and small portable amp for his eleventh birthday, and he practiced literally four to five hours a day for five years. He admires artists such as Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, BB King, and more modern artists such as Ed Sheeran. He loves to play electric and acoustic and bass guitar as well as the cajon.He is always looking for ways to incorporate a Celtic sound. This may be after having lived in the Northeast of England where Celtic influences are very strong. He often co-writes with Barb Bruton, as well as writing his own songs.
Anna is our lead female vocalist. She started singing with Credenda when she was sixteen. Now 23 years old, she is a pro. She loves big band jazz artists such as Cleo Lane, Frank Sinatra, and Nat King Cole. She’s also a big fan of singer songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Bob Dylan, as well as blues artists such as Mavis Staples. She is an accomplished song writer and is currently expanding her skills on the keyboard and guitar. Anna often co-writes with other members of the band and helps with the arrangements.

Twitch was introduced in 2011 as a gaming platform, but over the years evolved into a general streaming platform for people with all types of interests. The company was acquired by Amazon in 2014 and therefore has a strong corporate backing. Twitch allows streamers with special niches to connect with people with the same common interest. Stream content is broke out into categories ranging from Sports, Games, talk shows, charity/fundraisers, Music and Arts, and many more. After meeting a few requirements to become affiliate, a streamer is able to earn revenue through several methods including subscriptions, donations, and ad revenue. Some streamers have managed to make a full time career online by exclusively by streaming on Twitch. With many musical performers having a strong following, becoming a Twitch affiliate with the support of existing fans would be an easy task. Streaming on Twitch also unlocks the potential to reach a large established community of great people while earning revenue. Using other tools such as Streamspread will allow the streamer to reach even more people through their music websites.While streaming or watching live performances on the internet may not be for everyone, connecting online is a great alternative while being in self-quarantine and can help support local musicians through tips and donations. Twitch provides a solid way to achieve this and has already done so for years.
